First clue will be posted the first Monday before the event – Aug. 24 – on the website and at the Library.  Clues will be issued daily beginning the Monday of the week of the event.

Heritage Day 5K Run/Walk

5k trivia run/walk

Gear up for the second annual Coon Valley Heritage Day 5K Trivia Run/Walk!

 

Join us for a three lap (5K) walk along the Coon Valley Veterans Memorial walking path.

 

In addition to the walk itself, we invite you to take the trivia challenge to find out how much you know about the history of this beautiful region. 

 

Trivia markers - some with historical questions - will be posted along the parameter of the path.  You can answer these questions on provided answer sheets.  These are turned in for an opportunity to win an additional prize. 

 

ALL registered walkers will receive a medal once the walking challenge is complete.

 

  • Registration - 7:00 am

  • Walk - 7:00 am - 9:00 am

  • Earlybird Entry Fee with T-shirt (6/15-7/15) - $20.00

  • Standard Entry Fee with T-shirt (7/16-8/8) - $25.00

Will proceed east to west along Central Ave/Hwy 14 starting on Hiawatha and ending at Old Mill Road.

 

Lineup will be conducted in the Nelson addition beginning at 9:00am and following designated entry areas

  • Tractors can participate in parade per their choice and return to show following the parade

  • Entry Fee - $5.00

Calling all vehicle enthusiasts!

Join us for one of the most picturesque car shows in the Driftless area! We welcome all classic car, truck, semi, and motorcycle owners to showcase their rides along the beautiful banks of the Coon Creek.

 

  • Registration - starts at 9:00am (or pre-register online by August 22nd)

  • Show - 10:00am - 2:00pm

  • Sponsored Award Ceremony to follow

  • Entry Fee - $5.00 per vehicle

Awards are sponsored by area businesses, families, in memorandum of someone past and other interested parties.
